HELP, Broken subframe

that depends on year. all 99-00 had 26mm front sway bar. 96-98 dseries had 22/23mm

in canada that not realy true, because base model (cx,dx,lx 4 doors) doen't have front and rear sway bar and the SI model have front sway bar and the SIR model have front 26mm and 19mm rear sway bar and i think it's the same on the EX model (4 doors / same as acura 1.6 EL)

CSB-- if you install the ASR/24mm rear bar, with your new stock EK4 sub frame, make sure you have the 26mm front bar installed, its very nice and will help with preventing the new sub frame from being torn again. ;)

What springs are you running?

tama, my setup is:
OEM ek9 shocks
Eibach pro springs (90439)
All OEM EK9 bars....

so how about the civic EJ9 (1.4i version)..

soon I am getting the OEM Ek9 sway bar set.

I know for on the rear subframe I need a ASR brace, but what about the front?

Currently I have TEIN Flex with stock tein springs that belonged to the suspension set.

so from a D14 chassis the front LCA doesn't match the EK9 sway bars on the front? Well about traction control it's not such an issue.. currently have a b18c with LSD so..

I am 99% sure your going to need to change the front lca's to have the EK9 CTR front bar to work. I just did this on my 2000 coupe and needed the lca's changed out to fit the bar. The end links are a different configuration from all other civics for some reason.

you have to change the front lca bar and you need the fork who connecting to the shock of US SI or CTR because the lca was more bigger and with this combinaison you need bigger bolt ...me when a installing my bar i never thing to the bolt and it was very fun to find them on a friday night ....

and for the traction bar is a must for drag but on daily drive and lapping you don't need them

when you repair and get the ASR, try to pick up some coilovers too... not the slip on type either. the shortened stroke of the shock will allow for less droop in the suspension and less twist on the sway bar, which will lessen the stress on the subframe.
