Help B20 into EK4 SiR

Hi ya need help with my civic i have a EK4 SiR i brought a complete B20 engine package and have installed it went in ok but need help with the wiring.

The engine was in running in a ek facelift.how do i go about with the wiring will i need to get a pre facelift loom to go onto the B20 to make it work.The ecu is a mapped pre facelift with pre-face to facelift harness.

Also was thinking if i have to change the loom will i need to change anything else like dizzy etc.

Please help me if you need more info just ask.want to get it sorted asap and if need any parts lt me know if your selling anything i need.

if this is Hotmusas old engine then yeh Id imagine you would need to use a facelift engine and dashloom, then connect that upto the conversion harness and premapped ecu.
 
yeah its his old engine couldnt i change the engine loom to pre facelift?

would a facelift dash loom work in my car?mine has no imobliser built in key

any help will be great thanks alot kayleigh
 
oft youve bought a goody there.

use a preface VTI loom then an OBD2a-OBD1 ECU harness, that should do the trick
 
i got the receipt from the work you done on the engine hope its worth the money i spent on it lol

dont suppose u have the parts i need do you? how much if you have need them asap.kayleigh thanks for your help
 
Itll be worth the money as long as its not been ****ed about and is fitted as well as it was in the beginning :)


Nah I dont have a loom, what looms in your car the now?
 
the engine came out of his car so ek facelift.but dash loom is pre facelift

the parts you listed is that the best/easiest way to solve problem?

engine is same still, just want it out asap lol
 
Yea Hotsumas was a good fast car! Good luck getting it sorted! What happened to his car now?
