Headlight query

Hi

I've just spent ages searching for an answer to this but my search terms can't be very good - I'm sure this would have been asked before!

Do pre facelift headlights fit with facelift wing and bumper? Are the headlights the same shape etc?

The only reason I ask is a friend any I have bought an ek9 shell, its a facelift but only has 1 front wing at the moment and no headlights or bumper.

The shell came with no wiring so we have used headlight and car loom from an ek3.

No, they can't interchange.

You'll need the bonnet, front wings, headlights and the front bumper for it to fit.

Wing, bonnet, bumper, grill... are all different

Also believe there are some slam panel differences too...

it is possible but you need the matching bonnet, bumper, grill and wings. Pretty sure you have to "Modify" the front slam panel too, to get it all fitting. Seeing as the car you have is bare, you could do it very easily.

The facelift headlights are quite different from prefacelifts.
