chances are your pads may be worn, so your fluid is low due to a lot of it being in the caliper, i've had the same thing happen before.when you accelerate or brake hard fluid sloshes so the level/hand brake light comes on
if you top up the fluid then be carefull when you change the pads next, when you push the piston back the resovoir may overflow.

Mine did the same when i had worn front brake pads.

But what is it ? I hate little problems like this its always in the corner of my eye or in the back of my head lol.

Mine does this some days, seems to sort itself out... pads are fine and so is the fluid and little button on the brake lever... Weird

it could be the little button under the hand brake. this will be old and could be worn and loose. when going over small bump ect... this will wobble about and really P*ss you off. this happened in my last car so i unplugged the button. all was well after that
