Grant's EK4 track car with a Kanjo influence

looking awsome, intrested to see whats next man

Cheers for the comments.

Ended up replacing the ball joints in the buddyclub camber arms, cost £50 off their own website so will be able to test them out now.

Right, had another sprint day booked at Curborough with a few friends this time

In preperation i was desperate to get my HKS lines installed and ATE Typ 200 (superblue) fluid in.
Had an issue with the rears so i replaced them with RPB lines

Brake setup performed awesome, so pleased with the results.
Grooved and vented discs
ferodo DS2500 pads up front
EBC pads at rear
HKS braided lines upfront
RPB braided rear
ATE TYP200 fluid.

also managed to fit my new leads, obviously cant notice the difference but they look good

I decided to switch out the buddyclub fixed as the seating position was kind of awkward on the stock rail with recaro sidemounts, and it just so happened after 8 weeks of waiting my bride raail arrived from Japan!!!
SO the recaro went back in on the bride rail.

Had an excellent day at curborough, cutting my times down further and showing some of the bigger boys how its done. (even though im not quite Tsuchiya.....)

On the day the car decided to start smoking quite badly when on the power and over run, nothing at idle at all, and fine when driven normally. Looks liek the B16B head will be on sooner than planned, with fresh stem seals and LMAs!!

Few small details ive missed off.

Started to tidy up my buddyclub parts.

Decided to tidy up some of the stickers on the rear window, again not eveyone is a fan, but i think theyre cool.

Also as cheesy as it is, i really like the japanese with their "racing teams", so decided to start my own with my brother and a few friends. Went with Team Baita, (baita basically translates to whore in japanese, or so the internet has told me)
Its all a bit of fun, need some larger ones making for when i re do my vinyl layout.

Upgraded to all black door cards....

Down at the JDM Guys with some customers cars

And a pic of the Guys daily beater, JDM mitsubishi RVR (amazing i know) now rocking SSR and advans on the rear.

At japfest this weekend at Rockingham on the Exiled Media stand, cannot wait.

Loving the build :) Giving me some inspiration to ditch the stance and hit the track

Its the best thing i ever did, these cars should be built to be used, its still the underdog out on track and people dont expect them to perform how they do

Heres a video from my last time out

So been doing a few smaller job recently:
Purchased sunroof delete
Removed passenger airbag
More stickers (someone stop me)
Purchased 2 Advan AD08r's for the front, the toyos t1r's are not a performance tyre.

And attended japshow with Exiled Media on sunday

The show itself was abit poo, not really much to see or do, rockingham itself isnt the best venue for shows...

But while i was there, i kind of decided on my next journey....

I must MUST have one, so plan is to enjoy the civic probably till the end of the year, then move on to an s13.
Was toying with the idea of saving up and getting an AE86, but id be terrified to drive it anywhere.

I got talking to MR tegiwa (i think) as he was waiting to go out on track in the new type R, got some good info off him on it (said its similar to an ek9) and i cant wait to see what everybody does with them.
This thing owned the track, i know it wasnt a race, but lapping several cars and not showing any signs of weakness it looked strong.

I like what uv done with the car, keep up the good work mate
