Genuine or not?

a friend of mine was looking at this car today, seems ok, the owner said it had been crashed though, has two owners since new, it only has 32000 miles though, seems dodgy to me. What do you guys think? Could this be genuine?

my opinion is: its not genuine but it is very hard to tell as
there are no engine bay or interior pics..

your friend should know when he see's her in the flesh/metal

3000 grand seems a bit expensive for this model:S

personally i wouln't touch anything that has crashed imo

on a 13 year old car its questionable but could be true. nct will tell alot even if it fails you will still know what is wrong with it. he wont mind paying 50 euro for the nct if he feels there is nothing wrong with it. service history will tell you if he has it. or maby you could contact previous owners

Yeah he said he'll NCT it for the lad if he wants it, it's had a check by the local garage and the guy said that it would pass no problem. It's just the miles though? 97 with 32000miles? I just don't see that been genuine, unless a new engine was fitted when it was crashed. I've herd of people been able to check the milage on engines, some test you can do, anyone know about this? In the mean time i'll contact my mate and see can he get a number for the previous owner
