gear box help

hi guys iam car is crunching un to 4th gear only when changing at 8k onwards,thats not to bad....but today its been hard to get in reverse if you got from first to the try reverse it wont go on feels like there no gear there but if i lift my foot off the clutch and the press it back in its go in smooth, its leading me to think it may need a clutch?????

Reverse has no syncro mech so it can be a bit more difficult to engage the gear. Releasing and depressing clutch again is all that normally needs done to get the reverse in. Not sure if your clutch has anything to do with it, if anything it could be the selector fork. Is the 5th going in OK?

yea seems fine when i pull the engine out i think i may have the box apart and do 4th gear

Check them all as 3rd and 5th can give problems as well. Here's a brilliant guide:

I had similar issues with my Integra. I only changed the torque Mounts ant the rear engine Mounts, and the problems were gone

Sounds like a ****ed box mate
