Factory narrowband sensors
What are they and what do they do?
They are an electronic sensor that reads the fuel mixture and feeds the information to the ECU. The signal given out of a stock sensor is between 0-1v to tell the ecu what the mixture is
Wideband sensors and what they do...
same as above except they read a much more accurate reading and the signal given out is between 0-5v.
In conjunction with a contorller/display they allow the fine tuning of the fueling during tuning. so the tuner can be making sure the car is not running to lean or to rich.
factory signal is interperetted in Lambda wheres wideband displays generall show it in Air/Fuel ratio.
