Fuel pressure Regulator...

Factory narrowband sensors
What are they and what do they do?

They are an electronic sensor that reads the fuel mixture and feeds the information to the ECU. The signal given out of a stock sensor is between 0-1v to tell the ecu what the mixture is

Wideband sensors and what they do...
same as above except they read a much more accurate reading and the signal given out is between 0-5v.

In conjunction with a contorller/display they allow the fine tuning of the fueling during tuning. so the tuner can be making sure the car is not running to lean or to rich.

factory signal is interperetted in Lambda wheres wideband displays generall show it in Air/Fuel ratio.

www.plx-devices.com are a great manufacturer of widebands....
theres alot of different makes otu tere, take your pick.

spoon throttle bodie is only 62mm with a 70 mm flange the butterfly in the throttle is 62 same as itr

Hey thanks!

basicly its worthwhile when tuning!..

i never got round to fit my Spoon 70mm T/B, decided to stick with my stock 60mm one... however swapped it with my m8's DC2 T/B (62mm) instead!

soon will b fitting the sard fpr, vibrant 4-2-1, itr 62mm t/b, & hoping for a better responce @ low rpm too (daily drive)... not too happy with current performance! :(

anybody hve a link to the purpose of the wideband sensor!!! any recommendation..?

:thanks:

does that mean you have a spoon TB going for sale?:nice::nice::nice:

did hve, tho jst made a straight swap with me m8's very own DC2 T/B... the Spoon 70mm T/B performs better on the B18C than on B16...

therefore we both conform with swap :nice:
