Front panel/slam panel replacement

Hi guys,
New to the forum, so apologise if its in the wrong section.

I wondered if you could give me some advice on the front slam panel replacement.

How big a job is it to do? I take it its welded (not bolt on)
Anyone know what kind of price this is to do?

they'r quite simple to replace on ek's
they are weld on, any competent body shop should be able to carry out this task.
 
Am i right in thinking its not just a small panel that you usually see between the headlights but instead the complete front end?
 
yes i agree i got cheap one and nothing really lines up right i think im gunna chop mine of and get a honda relacement

Thread revival anyone know if this part can be got hold of and any clue on the part number of correct name for it?
 
Yeah i think so that or a very slippery white line, I can only blame myself really. :'(
 
Don't let it spoil your Christmas mate, with roads as icy and snowy as these it's all too easy to get caught out. I hope the repairs go well for you and I'm sure it'll come out as good as new :nice:
 
same problem here so glad i found this thread ! frame is ****ed so are both headlights , bonnet, ac radiator and compressor front wing and bumper and grill and rear bumper and quarter and one rear light , OUCH black ice is a bastard ! my wallet hates me right now .. . .
