Nothing big, just got a set of Battery terminal adapters for free from my friend Mätthu, so no i will do another little update before winter comes â youâll see
Hi guys. Delivery time again Just got another package from Japan including a few nice bits.
1) A Honda Optional Parts (H.O.P) Center console Cover which i think comes from the Type-Rx (leightweight) Models without any radio. Decided to swap my radio out because it only runs on JDM frequencies (i can't use it anyway), the CD-deck has some weird failures and i don't use it anyway Complete in OEM Honda Fake-carbon style
2) You just can't order one part from Japan so i added this little Zero1000 magnetic oil drain plug. Totally useless part but it's cheap, totally JDM and i like the brand because it has this 90ies feel
3) I managed to brake one of my topfuel mirrors when i attempted to re-install them in a more solid way, so this was why i ordered another set. Just love them. so rare and special
Decided to get some work done on the EK9 before i put her into winter sleep but actually i wasn't able to get it all done. anyway, here's wat i did so far:
1) I wasn't able to listen to the JDM radio due to different frequency bands and due to the noise of my exhaust so i removed the antenna a while ago and no it was time for the radio to go out. before:
Unfortunately you need to remove the entire lower dash area to get the damn OEM radio out. took me about an hour to get it all sorted
but finally out it was:
and back in with the OEM (fake-carbon-look) radio block off plate.
love the result. looks so "racy" and much cleaner without that champagne-coloured radio inside the cockpit
Oh and also installed the battery cutoff switch but somehow it was to high and i wasn't able to close the hood properly with that installed. so out it went again. so much trouble for nothing
Here we go, long time no see with the EK9. But tomorrow is a little EK-Hatchbacak meet so i decided to remove the cover and dust from the little pocket-rocket and get her out in the sun tomorrow. So that means i needed to get her running first. Which needed a little power from her unlike twin (my daily EJ9):
And while at work i decided to change that airfilter to the Apex'i one i had laying around in my basement for a few months now
All done and fine, Camera is packed and hope to get some nice shots for you tomorrow
