first proper build! ;) ek4


soo respray done on friday nite, was really happy with the outcome til we started blocking and buffing and seen quite a few fisheyes! soo got really pissed off and decided i wanted it painted again, so the car is being transfered to a local spraying company my friend works in for use of the oven, heres a few pics of the first paint job, second one happening this friday nite! wish me luck this time guys!!

i know from seeing other people being different on here they seem to get a good bit of abuse, im really thinking of putting these alloys on my car, i want it to be different from everyone elses, im not goin for ek9 look, im wanting my civic to be pretty unique.. let me know what use think..

Hopefully she'll look well and be done right. What theme are you going for if your not interested in the type r lookalike? Theres a few guys down your neck of the woods with decked ek's on dished wheels. you gonna be doing any engine mods in the future?
 
Alrite maffy dude! Im doin it up kinda unique, at the start was gona go ek9 but didnt see the point as it wasnt! Lol going for the spoon/SiR look, and yeah ul probs see another civic wif deep dish wheels on it nect time your down the port mate, ordered a set of 3sdm 0.03 the other day! Lol yeah dont worry il be getting stuck into the engine soon, already have a whales ***** carbon induction, and 5zigen 4/2/1 header, bt gona change the cams, intake, and looking into gettin a slip and 4.9 final drive box have a long way to go still but enjoying every bit of it, iv had loads of wee ej9 n this being my first ek4 i really have been smitten with the honda bug! Pretty much the second i get money its being pumped into the car, car should be back at mine on saturday fully painted and block and buffed, so gona build it up on sunday n try n get the coilovers in too! Il get pics up as i go!
 
I know all Painting Booths look the same, but did Alan at AG Automotive spray it this time around? Hopefully she turns out the way you like her! You'll def notice a good induction noise from the intake, I used to have one on my B18c EK9. If you are gonna get cams then your best off with EK9 cams, but you will notice the most gains when it's mapped. I'm heading back to the Port in sept to finish off a degree so I must get out with you lads sometime to see the craic!

Yeah every1 is tellin me to get ek9 cams so fink thats what il do! Gettin the car back in a few hours so gona get it built back up again, n mayb get the coilovers threw in n the bottom arms, yeah definitly dude let me know wen ur cumin dwn well try n get a good day alot of vtec'n n pics! Lol
 
So got the car back after respray no2! Finally happy with it! Put the bumpers, lights, and carbon spoon spoiler on n took a few pics.. What use think??

Yeah everything is fitting pretty sweet kipper, thou fink the back bumper is gona see a cable tie or 6! Lol part from that im really happy! So just wheels n coilovers, tax n mot m shel be on the road dude! Cant wait! Fed up lookin at it sittin in my garage! Lol
 
Looking good mate, lots of hard work gone into the car. Radiator looks the part :)

I'll be watching this with interest like :drool:

So far, definitely so good. Gives me a little hope that mine won't always be the binner it is just now. Haha.
