BIG UPDATE!!!!
Still got the EK9 although I only drive it for pleasure now (walk to work), and dont post on here much so thought id do a big update.
To sum it up in the last two and a half years ive got myself an awesome new mrs, modified the civic, got some new toys an got our own placeâ¦
Ill let some pics do the talking!
Last time I posted it looked like this..
With JDM Garages old AE86
I then persuaded my mum to get an EP3 so this one came along.
Sold the EK4 eventually after not even advertising but an old friend offered good money. I kept all the carbon an few other bits an then we did a photoshoot for old times sake with a good mates EG.
This was the last pics I got of it as he smacked it up big time after about a month of owning it
Next up here is the mrs and her EJ9 (or blue waffle as we named it).
After selling the EK4 I kept the carbon and decided to put it on the 9 as bit of a change, which I do like but still love it all white. So heres few pics with couple of my Honda mates.
Winter was coming and I couldnât keep driving my 9 daily as the roads are hanging where we live so I picked up the little beauty. S1 106 Rallye with 1.6 16V conversion, cheap an goes like you know what off a shovel.
Also the Mini had bit of a revamp an tried to put a bit of Jap influence on it.
I think she looks stunning!!!
Had to do a group shoot so dragged the 205 out the shed as well..
After being a year together with the mrs she wanted to change the colour of her EJ9 so we did a few photos before it went to the body shop.
And I had just fitted some carbon Spoon style mirrors to keep the carbon addiction up..
A lot of time later her civic is back and Milano Red again with all genuine EK9 lips, grill an spoiler (with carbon baseplate) an new set of wheels.
Mine also posing with a carbon spoiler which she bought me that Christmas.
The 106 becomes a sprint/hill climb car for me and my old man.
I fancied changing a bit more on the civic though and so I made a set of front and rear winglets, which I know someone put pics up on here from Japfest and got mixed feelings!
But I like em an is/was different to a lot of others.
Also picked up another S1 Rallye for the Mrs while her car was off road being sprayed.
Thatâs pretty much it accept one last BIG set backâ¦.
As if I donât have enough on as it is, I have wanted for years an years an AE86 an considered buying one before the EK9 but im glad I bought the civic now..
Well I found one in a barn that had been sat for years, paid silly money for it an now I have a huuuge blank canvas project!!!
So heres the new one to the collectionâ¦
Hope I havent bored any one in this post but a lot has happened and im quite skint now and me an the mrs live in a static caravan to fund the car habit, but its all well worth it!!
Cheers,
Steve
