Searching for cam gears, I found this, they look very very good, I currently need a set and I'm looking for the best option.
Check out some photos:
Specs:
Constructed from Forged 7075 Aluminum, the MFactory Ultra Lightweight Adjustable Vernier Cam Gears are essential for today's engine tuning.
- Allows you to fine-tune your camshaft timing to optimize the power output of your engine
- Vernier-Scale providing 0.5 degree cam angle adjustments makes our gears the most accurate on the market
- Laser-etched timing marks provide +/- 15 degrees of crank angle adjustment
- Hard surface coating ensures the highest of quality and reliability
- Textured outer ring provides extra grip for your timing belt
- Inner & Outer ring balanced up to 12,000rpm
What I found very interested in this product, that is the first time I see that you can adjust a cam providing 0.5 degree adjustments, the best I've seen was the skunk 2 pro that has a 1 degree adjustments.
Their price are 180 $ shipped, they're cheaper than skunk2 pro series cam gears.
Anyone has any experience with this? I've no experience adjusting camshafts, is it good to have 0.5 degree adjustments?
Remember that a bad choice in cam gears can cost you the motor
