I can't belive this hasent sold yet come one people open your eyes ud be able to put it back to standard and make a good 3k just in parts. Bump for a epic car
 
Hi newbie here on the look out for a nice EK9 after selling my 250 bhp forged glanza, I have a few questions, when the b18 engine was put in at 80k was it a fully rebuilt engine if not what is the mileage on it and have you got all paperwork etc for it?

Have you got any more info on the engine please, have you had the head work carried out, and any work done on bottom end? Im interested but need to know more please.

Cams , valve springs, retainers, cam gears and itbs all done at same time last year. No bottom end work done.
 
you don't know the actual engine mileage then? Im very interested but I'm around a 5 hour drive from you so want to know more about the car, is there any issues at all with the car etc..

Speedo is reading 136k, car drives very well and does nt get abused . Great car

lol soz for the rant but anyone anyone lookin for a cw ek9, for 6.5k you will not get any better than this, just look at the spec list ! No expense spared with the car and an absolute bargain at that price.

Sick of sayin it dave but good luck with sale lol

Havent really read the thread, but if theres no interest, you might be better off breaking her or returning her to complete stock (with the money you make from selling some mods) and then selling her! Just an idea..

Considering how much interest there has been in jimbo and johns car over the last 3 days you will sell the majority of bits pretty quick
 
i would say break it, all well its a great car but nowadays expecially with cars that have engine conversions people are tending to be more wary of them for some reason. i have seen a lot of 9s sell the last few weeks on the forum for 6 plus

you could break this car within a week and make your money back no bother

It's not about having a brain or not. It's the best way to make majority of your money back. Like I said, you can return her to stock and sell her off faster and make more cash (by lowering the asking price after selling mods)
 
Such a nice example really dont know how it hasnt sold!! I hope this doesnt break! As Gav said there will be none left! We will just have loads of ej9 ek9s :(

yeah was a figure of speech man just meant that to many are being broken for parts, yes sadly in the current climate its the way to get most money back but at the same time sad as this is an ek9 type r enthusiasts forum and bad to see alot of them being pulled to bits :(
 
It is deffo upsetting to see them being sold like this. ITR's went through the same phase a while ago, then it just becomes pointless to break them because everyone does it and the market gets saturated with parts lol. I guess it means more business for duncan to bring over LOL
 
Na not gona break it, fuu that !! I know i d prob make more money in the long run but it does nt appeal to me ripping her to shreds .
