Facelift b16 engine into preface ej9

Hi guys,
Recently I am thinking of doing b16 engine conversion, would source one full conversion from a facelift one with ecu etc.
My question do I need to do to adapt the whole facelift engine into my prelift car with least modification? I am going to run just stock setup atm.
I think my car is obd2a and the facelift is obd2b right? If I only need buy a harness conversion from 2b to 2a? Or other way around, where can I buy it?
I spot some in eBay seems only for sell from us.

the facelift loom is no good to you mate, you will need prefacelift loom from a ek4/ek9 to get the engine running, its all plug and play after that

Thanks, so the type of engine loom is always follow the type of car you are going to use? no matter what engine you are getting am I understanding right?
