ever wondered what blinx's car looks like?

Nothing wrong with that mate what brake set up have you got on the front!282mm?

integra GSR drilled/slotted rotors with gsr spindles front and rear with cobalt friction GT sport brake pads.

looks like Emotions to me.

Loving that angled exhaust

yup they are emotions

how close would you say your car is to the EK9?

would you swap that for a EK9 do you think? since it looks like a lot of time was spent on it.

close? i should blow an ek9 out of the water on turns and on straights, heres the mods list:

:shocked::shocked:

how come you don't have Tein suspenions! :nono:

i didnt have the money to buy it all at once, first i bought the koni's then later i got the coilover sleeves, most roadracers use koni shocks with coilover sleeves, its a very popular and proven setup. its not cheap either, its usually around $800-1000 :nerv: and the only tein i like is the monoflex which is 1500 :nono:

:D

its just you can get them cheap can't you and you always recommend Tein to others!

so i guess you would have some

wow.... finally I saw your car in all angle... its a nice car :nice:.. by the way i didn't know you got your engine back....kinda got busy and don't have time to read your thread on turbocharging.... its nice you have it back on the road.. what exhaust do you have? its so nice with that angle..... :wow: and how about pics in the inside blinx? :pics:

I really like the color.

Seems like you need a set of hood pins to press that hood down to minimize the gap between grille and hood.

i can get them for less, but not cheap, my cost is still well over $1200 :angry2: but they are excellent suspension, i have driven a few cars that had the monoflex :nice:

its kinda dirty right now  im a very lazy/messy person

haha lol, its like that because there is a weather liner that goes between the hood and grill that i removed... plus the car is a preface lift, i did the face lift myself, so that might be the reason also :)

Nice car man, what exhaust is that you have? Apexi?

its a custom 3" with an apex N1/hks hi power style backbox.

:bow::bow: thank you for all the kind words guys :D

beautiful car! I might get one like yours in the next month! the funny thing is that I have almost all the parts to the ek9 "look" conversion :woot:

do it!! its fun :) as long as you have the time, and can do the work youself, it can end up expensive if you have to pay for labor, cause the car dosent have A LOT of parts stock, like NO sway bars.

Nice paint job blink :nice: Is your car all up and running now?

How come everyone wants to paint their CF parts? We should put a toll.

Yo blinx, what's the difference between EK9 tails and USDM EJ6 tails cause I have USDM 99 tails I pulled off a 99 in a junkyard and I can't see the difference. On that note, is there a difference between the JDM 99 front bumper cover and the USDM 99 Bumper cover?

no difference in the bumpers, the tails are slightly different, i believe on braking (or maybe the parking light) the jdm light up above and below the clear part while the usdm version only light up above the clear part. but as far as external appearence they are 95% the same, if you look very carefully i believe the bottom half of the jdm has a slightly different reflector on the bottom ourter corner.

What is she running at the wheels? U had her dyno'd yet?

i dont really believe in dyno's as tools to measure hp, they all read differently so i never bothered, plus everyday i retune the car, like today i ran it at 20psi, yesterday was 11psi, the day before that it was 14psi so there really is no point for me to dyno it, i just use aem and street tune it. but if i had to guess id say about 280whp at 15psi which is a little lower than most guys would normally make with 15psi, but my compression is VERY low.

simple example, my friend has the exact same setup i have except his CR is 10.4 he made 280whp at only 11psi.

Jesus man, 280hp im assuming this is at the front wheels>?

Does that not make for bad understeer? And is it not a handfull in the wet?

Nice car! love the alloys & zorst, but its the power figure thats the most impressive 280bhp!! :drive:
