Guys, I have a ek9 with a b18c4 block, b16b head running a p73 jdm itr ecu. I get a 23 code knock sensor.
Anyway I can get clear the code?
Everything works as it should but engine light comes on after a min of driving and stays on
 
Since the P73 is a JDM ecu and the engine (i reckon) a UKDM, then it`s searching for a knock sensor which EUDM/UKDM engines didn`t come with, but JDM ones did.
 
B18c4 blocks have no knock sensors. My jdm p73 ecu tries to find the knock sensor so I get a code 23.
The obd2a knock sensor wire is plug d6.
Any idea how I can bypass that I'v searched everywhere and no answers
 
Run a wire and fit a knock sensor, it'll just screw in to the back of the block
 
I don't know of any ways,
I would just buy a knock sensor of eBay or a trader/breaker, screw it in to a spare threaded hole in the back of the block and run the wire and it will work correctly then
 
pretty sure you can add a knock sensor the a c4 block with one of the extra threaded holes at the rear of the block
