ek9 vs ep3

il get it sorted though was like that when you had it dunsy i checked it out mind

so thts the reason i thoughts hampering the top end lol the car pulls like a train already though:nice:
 
well if you are only going like 0.5 to 0.7 quicker with 35 or so more supposed horsepower there is a problem start with manifold.get another dyno though before you start trying to fix stuff so your not chasing your tail.
 
there is no ek9s any where local to me and i would love to race one in my ep3!

my ek4 was quite sharp and i raced a ep3 that had hks 4 branch and decat and exhuast system and induction kit and i only had a induction kit and i sat side by side with him to 100mph.

now i have an ep3 with hks hi power exhaust and induction kit and it very fast:) some cars are just naturally faster than others
 
I raced a lad at work who owns a FN2 (different car i know) but my b18c had quite abit edge on his car
 
FN2's do seem slower. Iv smoked a few off them now. Not had a proper blast with an EP3 yet though with the 1.8
 
i have a ep3 and a ek4. the fn2's are shite! i sail past them in my ep3. sayin that i would deffenetly think a 200bhp ek9 could eat it! same as any cars there are fast ones and there are bo***cks one to. a quick one is at low fortines. thats standard
 
EK9's are all about the handling imo. That's the reason I bought mine anyway. So many faster straight-line cars you can buy for same price as EK9 or cheaper..
My mate had an EP3 & hated feel & handling compared to Clio Trophy, DC2 & EK9.
Surely that's what these cars are all about?
