ek9 vs ep3


na his is runnin the stroker kit or sumin runnin at 212bhp mine has a dc mani with invidia n1 cat back and aem cai. Got to admit his does sound the dogs balls tho
 
Ek9 should have done better with the spec it has, maybe the manifold really is causing a problem!!

Still ep3 must be quick...
 
LOL at 212bhp should pull on EP3

It depends on so many different things, grip, weight, driver ability, launch etc etc

yeh 212Bhp Ek9 should kill an EP3 my ek4 is not far of EP3's and that only has breather mods, all about the driver :D
 
yeah ive seen incuding the two 9's i've owned beating ep3's on the strip loads of times, again down to driver, conditions bla bla but that 9 with the spec it has should be whipping ep's.
 
we all know its not really about 1/4 mile times though.

Lapping Knockhill in 63/64 seconds is where its at
 
is that not a fast ep3 though getn 14.3?

i started to beat the ep3 more later that day when i figured the best way to get the power down.you can see in the second video though i couldnt beat his best time

with my jordan at 177bhp done a 15.0 sec and i could take a std ep3 but one with a spoon cat back i raced would pull away at about 70 mph
 
heres some pics of my manifold dents im concerned about. the tube on the left dents inwards in a V shape though is hard to tell from the pic
