As above! love a good build. Looking forward to seeing more progress on this.

Both the electric windows don’t work, so plan is to fix them this weekend, luckily Hond-r had a pair for oem working regulators. When I took the drivers door card off I was greeted with this mess! why just why.

The membrain ruined, I’ll make a new one or save it somehow.

I know this routing of the PCV valve isn’t correct.

I think the valve sits in a grommet on the inlet manifold? Any pictures of how it’s supposed to look would be appreciated. And a photo of how it looks under the manifold would be helpful.

New regulators in and they work great. Tidied up the wiring.

Added these bits of foam to each door to stop the rods rattling over bumps.

Bit of a “silk purse out of a sows ear” job here, I decided to use as much of it as I could. Some of it was missing hence the tape.

A pair of original Honda speakers fitted from a donor car.

All done!

The PCV valve plugs directly into the top of the manifold so those two hoses are the wrong lengths. It's a longer hose from manifold "nipple" to PCV to manifold. Under the manifold is the hoses connected to the black box.

Thank you, it’s got a long length of hose from the black box to where you see the pcv valve now.
Will try and source some original pipes

So I was on my way home from work last night and I noticed my temperature gauge slowly rising! Heater on full brought it down for a sec then back up to 3/4’s on the gauge, stopped and checked if the thermostat was opening, it wasn’t fingers crossed it’s just a thermostat!
Water had started pushing out the rad cap into the expansion bottle.

Have you topped it too much? Or airlock?

No I’m hoping it’s because the water wasn’t circulating due to the thermostat not opening, the water being pushed out into the expansion bottle is because it was getting too hot.
Fingers crossed it’s just a thermostat and not a cracked cylinder head etc
