EK9 rails issue.

hey all, little frustrated.

I bought EK9 rails, under the assumption I needed these to fit my DC5 recaro's to my Jordan.

I finally found a chap and arranged today to get them, drove 6 hours, got home and fitted the rails to the seats, lovely, all fit fine.

got a seat in the car and one side will line up fine, leaving a inch or two gap between the rail and the hole on the floor the other side.

the rails meet fine with the floor, but its as if I need them to be 1 or 2" wider to meet all four holes.

any idea what I can do, have I done anything silly (maybe do I need to mix and match the DC and EK rails?

gutted.
 
Can you make some spacer plates? Like a plate either side that bolts to the rail and then the seat to space the rail out enough? You'd only need like 3mm plate as that's all the fia aprroved stuff is.
 
Little gutted I might need to do all this, as it makes sence to off got custom in the first place then, I got these after countless people saying they all bolt on and in fine, ill fire some pics up! :)
 
A simple plate setup shouldn't be too hard to fab up.
 
turns out rails were fitted wrong, I fitted them late last night! *feel stupid!!*
