Hi all,
I got a good bargain on a used ek9 prefacelift front end conversion. The seller said that the bumper is in mint condition before i purchased it. I just got it yesterday from shipping company and was dissapointed about the condition. The bumper has a long cracks on the right side of the bumper, some cracks on the lip. I discovered all those cracks while I dismentled and washed the bumper n lip.
I called the seller about that and he said he didnt know about the cracks. He promised to pay for the fix.
I know alot of you think that why not just get another one in mint condition?
EK9 PFL bumper is very rare here, plus the price is quite cheap. So why not I try to fix it.?
Here's some of the picture.
ya it was originally white color
big cracked
the repaired before
some sealed holes
the lip
the damaged
the repaired before
and the lip is not fit on the lower grille
more cleary view on the right side of the lip
the bolts to screw the lip n bumper together. Is it enough?
Any good repair suggestion that will last long?
