So I joined this site last week and I've been looking around non stop with my mouth wide open drooling profusely  . I really need to find other things to do with my time... I just wanted to say Hi to everyone here.

So here's some tidbits as to how I came across this forum. I have always been a fan of the EK9. It was what got me into the Honda scene in 1999. Before that, my family have always owned Mazda's. A feature of the EK9 in Import Tuner was what captured my attention of the EK9. In 2001, I got the chance to build my EK9 replica here in the states.

A bought a mint condition 99' Honda CX hatchback. I did everything I wanted to do with the car. B16a2 swap, suspension, NH0 paint job, all oem exterior, and mugen wheels. I sold the car shortly after that build but it was the worst car related decision I've made to date :nerv:. I went on to own a EP3, S2000, and another 2000 VSM Hatchback.

Some of my old cars:

I was in the process of building the 2000 hatchback and found a mint condition EM1 that I couldn't pass. I made another tuff decision and bought the EM1 within two days. I made the decision based on my fond memories of my bro and I. In 2000, my bro bought an electron EM1. I helped with him with that build but it was stolen shortly after. So this build is more like reliving the memories I had with him. Plus I've always wanted a clean EM1. It is mere impossible to find a well kept EM1 in California.

I stumbled across this forum because I was searching for the Spoon caliper. I must say I am glad I got here. It seems as though everyone here is polite and respectful. I can't say the same about other forums. This forum really reminds mr of the old s2ki.com forum. As of late, that forum has deteriorated since the s2k's have dropped in price.

Well, sorry for the long ramble... Just wanted to show some love to EK9.org. Awesome community from what I can see. Cheers! :nice:
