ek9 lights & ek4 lights. difference??

hi guys, my friend has had a an accident in his ek9 and he has to change both front lights. he was going to buy them new but we encountered a set at half the price but we're not sure whether they are ek9 lights or ek4 lights. How do you tell the difference? any pics plss

side by side its very easy to tell - the EK9 units have a smoked reflective backing (see my avatar) where as EK4 units are a crystal white backing

fit the proper ones pal as stock ek lights look crap on
an ek9 :((
£160 for the pair from honda here in the UK :secret:
 
we just got the lights on our hands, they were ek4's. We're going to honda tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys

different pal... the ones in the previous pics are "pre-facelift"
facelift ones dont have the "fuzzy" look at the side of them :nice:

if you want i have the part numbers from when i got mine for my
2000 ek4
let me know if you need them :secret:
 
i got my genuine ones from there mabe i got one of the last sets they were like £200
 
sorry to hijack the thread i have an ek4 sir and my lights have a gold backing not the clear are these ek9 lights or just dif due to being jdm
 
Yeah we're going directly to honda tomorrow. sometimes you search for different parts to save money and you still end up with a bad part. Thanks for the information guys.
