EK9 Grills on ebay

wanted to know whats the experience of anyone buying replica EK9 grills of ebay..

Whats the fitment and quality..?

Fitment is sh**y, complete waste of money. I ended buyind an original for me.

I got a EK9 replica grill for my old ek a few years ago, the fit was ok, but not great. I ended up buying an oem one to replace it with. The replica one sat out from the bumper alittle compared to the oem one.

For the price difference the replica was a good buy as the quality was quite good but fitment could have been slightly better.

i had a prefacelift grill from ebay on the ej8 i had previously did not fit well at all i had to leave the oem on .. but now my ej6 has a facelift front with oem type r grill cant go wrong fits like a glove lol obviously ebay is s#!t .. my friend had a facelift grill from ebay though and it was ok but jus didnt fit like the oem

i bought a ek9 grille from ebay and i had no trouble with it, still got it on now and im soon to be having it painted

The grill on my EK4 prefacelift was off ebay.. perfect fit. Maybe some people just get lucky with suppliers.

Yeh I think it might just be down to luck of who you get it from. Mine didn't fit as badly as other people are saying, but I did end up going for an OEM one as i wanted the fitment to be perfect.

It differs per supplier I guess. I got some Type R lips in PU from Ebay, they were the very cheapest. Guess what? Fitment couldn't have been better. While others report bad fitment.
