So he's my new daily driver. i finally own my dream road car...

only this picture for the minute. il be doing a little photoshoot when i get it on the road (just waiting to put it through the NCT in ireland) (MOT!)

Plans for this you may ask? nothing really i love ek9's OEM standard ... its lowered 40mm. and has a air intake. i will replace the intake with something proper instead of the cheap one thats on it or go back OEM with it. i alos have a spoon N1 system here from old civic. so i may put it on ill see.
also it isn the OEM front lip and i wil change that back also

just a bit of update, heres a nice snap i took before i took a spin up our local mountain in my ek9 before i took it off the road for a freshen up and for the winter...


 
Love ek9's :D proud owner of one myself 2 months ago never as happy to get a car before :D
 
Nice car man! Did you buy this off a guy in the midlands? Is it a 99 reg?
 
Standard is the best with a little drop, it makes my head hurt when I see 9's stanced and all that, kinda defeats the purpose

Yeah a friend of a friend of a friend originally owned it when it came in from japan and it went up to the midlands I will be honest it is very clean. I have the norm one or two penny dints here or there. but slowly I will sort everything. I really enjoy it standard tbh. that's what Honda set out to do. the EK9 was the Factory Designed hot hatch.... having said that I love the track inspired ek9's I see about..
 
Also another update. I just had the Head rebuilt in a week or too to freshen it up. I want to thank tegiwa for sourcing the rebiuild kit and a few valves (pitted moda****ers) and the seriously fast shipping and ordering of all OEM Honda parts . I don't do Spruious! (**** spelling) its making its road debut once again in a week or two after I sort the normal **** like Tax and NCT (MOT) etc
 
Be good to see some more shots of this, looks really fresh man

Yeah exactly just had a cheap air intake which I will change.. and lowering springs which I wil change for coilovers but that's it......
 
UPDATE!

So I Decided to have the Head full rebuilt. so I went to Tegwia and they got all OEM Honda parts for me.... just after finishing putting miles on it too and from work!

thinking of getting a Brand new Spoon N1 soon too as the oem exhaust is full of sut and **** from when it was really smokey before I got it..... hmmmmm anyway heres some pics













So then I decided to give the Car a compound . the car is going away to be Detailed inside in a few weeks (had to cancel my booking after yesterdays storms ) :(








Whilst waiting for all of that. I got ready for the Drift season ahead! haha Sorry we're a bit mad I think





Then with some Plastic Polish cleaned up the faded headlights . came out pretty good...




Got rid of that shitty Honda spare key and got a type r one. happy days...
