ek9 D16 turbo


a mate told me about this when we were there, seen this on strip, looks and sounds awesome.
 
Seen this on Sunday goes like f**k ! Very clean and looks amazing. Running good times as well!

But I have to ask. Why a d16 over a boosted b series ?
 
D series is a hell of a lot cheaper to replace so don't have to worry about blowing it up
 
Going from Crails website it was a busy day on the strip!
The D16 goes well though, i see my friend took the FWD record.

Just looking at the times, there was 207 folk on the strip. Think im glad i didnt go!

Yeah i know him, he is from up this way.

That's why I didn't go on was too busy for me !

That thing is crazy and the gtx42 on it is huge, serious car :)

12s should be easy with that HP :nice:
 
Get rid of they heavy recaro a too and get a light fixed back in there :p
 
Managed a 12.8 last year with less power! Need to improve my 60 ft times! My downpipe is restrictive and stil using a spoon cat back exhaust! My plans are a full 3" exhaust to get the turbo spooling up faster. Seem to have lag between gear changes. Also a bigger intercooler due to charge temps getting on the hot side when on high boost! Car is built for track but occasionally take it to crail!
