i have one dude
make me a sensible offer and its yours.
cheers chris

jus take your relay to the local motor factors, they should be able to match it with a new one, providing it has got part numbers or summat stamped on it :)

Where is the relay located?

My central locking only half works, sometimes.

Exactly what mine was like mate. now it doesnt work at all

the relay is a black box located on the drivers door towards the windscreen end. you cant miss it once the door cards off.

sadly i think my relay is fine (as this would of been the easy bit to fix). i managed to trigger the central locking by making alink between the pins on the socket before the relay etc so im thinking thatmaybe the switch mechanism or something has gone in the drivers side lock.

anyone know if there is a seperate switch on the drivers side lock that triggers the relay? or do you have to buy a whole new mechanism?

May I ask how you did this (which sockets you linked) as it sounds like the perfect way to test the box. I am also having the same problem where my central locking does not work at all...

if you take off the drivers door card and peel back the plastic sheet. (the sticky stuff they use is a **** so avoid it! ) follow the cables (3) from the lock to the first plug on the door. this plug is pretty much inline with the side bolster when door is closed(just for reference) unplug this and put one end of a volt meter on the centre wire (black) and the other on either the left or right blue ones. this should lock or unlock the door.

think thats right..doin it from memory as in work at the mo. will try and take pics tomorrow if i can :)
