ek9 and vxr

i know you guys dont really like aving a bit of sport on country roads but a corsa vxr tryed ti over take me the day a dropped a gear and was ot of site within 7 miles and definately ad his foot down well chuffed the guy stoped in the town and couldnt believe it wen we were speaking
 
EK9's are quicker even on a straight line against the Corsa VXR believe it or not. I had a go against enough of them.

it depend on the driver and how the gears are change.but ek9 is quicker.
 
hmmmm i drove my mates arctic vxr corsa and tbh it was nippy enough , i would say the artic would give the better race as its 204bhp , should give the ek9 a race if not beat it
 
There not slow, but at the same time they weigh over 1.5 tonnes!

I had a blast with one when I had just got my '9 and I kept up but couldnt overtake going up a hill and same when I was in front he couldnt pass me!

Dont be fooled in thinking there sh1t through the corners either! Im not saying there better than an EK9 but standard for standard there not far off! Modern technology is hard to beat!

Josh dude, they weigh 1200KG not 1 and half tonnes. If they weighed that much they would be pretty slow.
 
He was obviously granny shifting, not double clutching.

ive drove both standard vxr shokkingly bad turbo lag and whoever else has driven one will back me up
 
yeah they are quite dead off the turbo , this is my mates one , quite nice tbh

not a bad looking car tbh just hate them gash wheels, to bad vauxhall have to turbo them to beat a honda, turbo ek9 vs VXR. VXR no chance.
 
Why does every car like mini, rs turbo escort, corsa vxr for example need a turbo or supercharger and still isn't making the same break or just pipping a oldskool 9 againest all these new cars out! If any of us had a turbo or supercharger on are 9s they would be eating scoobys for breckfast and god knows what else! Just shows how amazing these cars are at the end of the day the japs centainly know how to build good imports plus the rest! It's a nice looking vxr but still prefer my 9 I guess u all know that was coming after what I just wrote lol
