Due to time a time waister I,m being forced to re advertise my ek9 2000 facelift. EK9 Honda Civic in Championship White. The car was imported in 2007. The current mileage stands at 57k and has got service history since being in this country. I get the car service every 2000 miles. I bought this car as it is in mint condition and is rare to find one with parcel shelf, 2nd key, key fob and orginal gear knob. The car also has a pioneer cd/mini disc play and some wierd kenwood speakers (came with the car). Car is totally standard except for some uprated honda exhaust and a japanese induction kit and some extremely amusing remote control fog lights. The red recaro seats ive just had refurbed to look absoultly mint. Really nice car owned by honda enthusiast and would like to sell to another. No tyre kickers or test pilots!! And please dont offer me bangers in p/x. [North Yorkshire/Lancashire] £7300

Am I wrong to say that it is pictured where some of their cars are photographed then?

And that it has the same registration as one of theirs (all be it a couple of numbers out) and that it is located in exactly the same area as them?

Just thought id give a neutral view on this one mate...
Torque of Keighley is not in North Yorkshire/Lancashire
and
The registration doesnt have a link to the importer, none at all...they are just picked by DVLA, although I do think they reserve some letter combinations for imports.

I dont know if this is a Torque of Keighley car, just stating facts I know which may help.

Indeed.

But in the photo, you can clearly see Keighley on the road sign and it is not listed as far away by the looks of things.

I am sure I have seen cars of theirs photo'd at the same location but, I dunno...I aint buying it so I guess I should stay out of it.

Good luck to anyone who buys it!

Hope it turns out to be a minter! ;)

The car was bought from torque but what should that matter

It doesn't.

just many people have heard bad thing about the company thats all.

I am not gunna get into an argument about it with you.

I am just trying to get information about the car thats all.

But if your gunna get funny, I wont bother and I'll tell my mate to look elsewhere.

I woz only asking not getting funny. There alright just overpriced.

LOL.

And the rest!

I have heard of cars not being registered properly, registered as different cars, R graded cars (accident damaged cars( being sold without informing the customer.

I rang up months ago now, about the yellow one they have with a black engine bay.

i asked if it had been crashed, resprayed yellow or front end chop...They denied it being black and said I was wrong.

LOL

And they now have that other yellow one that was for sale on pistonheads a while back and everyone slated the seller cos he didn't have a clue etc...

I just hope that this car is as good as you say it is and someone gets a really good car!

:)

If you 'google' torque of keighley.

you'll come across various posts from skyline/evo/imprezza forums about experiences members had with viewing the cars!

again, lets hope this car is a minter!

For a start I thought you meant am i an employee of torque and no im not, also i thought you meant is this torque trying to sell this car on privatly. I went to torque and asked them when they could get my an ek9, they said there were some on there way would be about 9 weeks. Anyway 9/10weeks later a transporter came with 6 ek9's on. 3 looked suspect, 1 had been ragged to death and 1 was a dog, so I picked the one ive got. I opened the door and wrote the mileage down in km,s. I was then told the car would be checked ova and prepared for sale, sva test etc. The car was done I got a phone call went and looked round it with a experienced mechanic and my brother who has done his time in body repair and the car was sound, barr a few minor dints, cig burns in the drivers seat. We converted the km's into miles it was spot on no discrepancy. After driving the car for two week the wheel baring had gone so I took it back no worries, job sorted. Attitude wasnt right good but the job was sorted. Since then Ive had both seats retrimmed, a new rear interior door card put in as the other was cracked. Ive put the car into mint condition, and now my new son is due on the 28th feb I cant afford to keep the car, i can assure any1 there is no alterer motive for selling this car. Its a nice clean well looked after example

ok. thank you for clearing it up.

My mate who is interested has asked me to find out a couple of things for him.

When was exactly was it imported?
Are you the only UK owner?
Do you service it or does a garage do it (he wants to know what oil has been used for engine & box)?
Did you register it or did Torque?
Is it fully deristricted?
Any security fitted?
And finally, what kind of prices are you open too?

Thanks
