I have a Civic VTi-S EK4, and I was just curious what you guys think its worth, as im more an EF guy.

Its a black VTi-S hatchback with full VTi-S kit including mid spoiler, VTi blade alloys, rear tints, lowered on Koni shocks/springs, in the past 12months it has had a new 5zigen 4-2-1 manifold and a Tanabe exhaust, and has 2 months MOT and Tax, BUT it has a bent valve so runs rough (mileage ~140k), and has had a few bumps - bonnet and wings have small dings, as does the rear bumper. The bodywork isn't great, but wouldn't cost much to sort out.

And before anyone asks, I will not be breaking the car.

Thanks

I'm not the best person on this but I'd say roughly say between £2000-£2600 could be wrong you are best breaking but fair enough if u not wanting to

yeh i would break but i dont have anywhere to, or anywhere to store parts

Alright well you best of selling whole as you said but you could break and only take parts off the car once they have sold and you have received payment if that makes sense

yeh i know, ive broke about 7 cars before so i know how it works, but i just dont have the time or energy to take a fairly rare Civic apart, list it all on forums, photo everything, pack stuff up and send out etc etc

thanks

Ye suppose but think of the money lol nah fair enough mate just a thought take it back to standard sell after Market parts them sell car standard that's another option

Or.. Jus sell it as it is all the best mate

id say your looking at 2k

yeh i think so too lol

ive gone through that in my mind but it's a headache breaking a car, and i need the money sooner than later so selling in one go is best.

i may put the OE manifold back on, but i dont have OE exhaust or suspension and would rather not have to pay out for bits

thanks for the input, i think your price is about right. there is one on ebay standard with ~80k for £3500!

having owned a mint VTI-S i would honestly say its worth about £2000 as matt said.. but with this bent valve you say about maybe £1900... i'm not trying to be harsh mate...

i had a VTI-s that i bought for £2200 and the spec was...
jordan interior,
AEM V1 intake
Skunk2 inlet mani,
comptech 4-2-1
decat
tanabe hyper medalion centre section and back box.
lowered springs
17black racing wheels..
and jordan alloys
the whole car had 1 tiny dent in the tail gate... mileage was 107,000

others will tell you the car was very very clean... but as i said it was worth £2200.... so if think £2000 for yours as described is fair.

I'll let you into a secret i did make a 4 figure sum over the value of my car by breaking it.... and i still have a bonnet, bumpers, and front wings and the interior from the car...
so there is potential to make near £4000 from breaking a vti-s in good nick...

no VTI-s is worth £3500... maybe if it has had a full b18C-R conversion.... people on ebay try to make they are worth alot more than they are....

As topher says you best off breaking 3k is over priced I'd say you can buy a teg type r for around that price now!

like i said, i would break it if i could, but i cant, its just not possible.

thanks for the input. you got that one for a very good price considering the mods it has/had

i bought this off a mate, and he paid nearly £6000 for it 5 years ago, and then it had 60k and was literally mint, but its been a little abused now

this is an old photo though, i now have original clear indicators and the vent in the front bumper has been flushed in and sprayed (by myself)

im sure a few people recognise it

y dont you just buy a set of valves for it and enjoy it. keep it in one piece far to many honda's being broken atm at this rate there wont be any left in a year or 2

hence why IM NOT breaking it.

the work involve replacing the valves i could buy and fit another B16A2 for less, but im pretty skint at the moment (looking for work)

but i already have a Civic, I don't need or can afford two.

My 46k Vti-s, which was standard and as it left the factory bar Ek9 shocks/springs went for £3400 without too much difficulty last year as a benchmark Marc 

be lucky to get more then £1500 for it with a bent valve to be honest.
Try selling a car in this current climate,
