ek4 pre facelift prop valve its £180 and ek4 face lift its £50 ?

And in epc Honda for pre facelift the name its prop valve and in ek4 facelift its 4way joiner.

I have fail mot in the rear in one side only with foot brake, with handbrake its ok. I have few friends in ek4 pre facelift with this problem and it was prop valve.

Anyone know if facelift dont have prop valve and its only 4 pipe joiner?

My ek4 facelift use this

The four way joint is used in the EP3 and onwards Civics which used the ABS to sort proportioning (EBD). It's possible Honda may have introduced this into the late model EK Civics. I've never seen any mention of it before but this is the only real clue and the fact that this is what they'll sell you for that model is pretty telling IMO.

Essentially a four way joint is going to have no valve in it, it's just a straight through valve, it'll give you more rear bias than even an adjustable bias valve on full rear pressure. According to my brake calc it should still leave a stock EK4 with a few percent front bias, but I'd not recommend it for anyone using sticky tyres as you'll more than likely be encountering rear bias under heavy braking in the dry.

I would not recommend this on the EK9.
