Yup, classic case of "bhp is everything"
If it's just street driving, you don't need more bhp. What you want is more acceleration and better handling. In your situation/application, going for bhp will not get you the "real world" results you were hoping for. You'll just be sorely disappointed.
1) Forget about the aftermarket Intake/Header, you don't need them yet. If you must get an exhaust, get one based on looks/sound, not for how much bhp it supposedly makes.
2) Sort out your chassis with some decent springs or coilovers. If you're geometry is out of whack, get it sorted first.
3) Change your final drive to either a 4.785 or a 4.928. You will notice more "real world" difference with this one single modification than you would spending $$$$'s on an Intake/Header/Exhaust.
4) Not that I'm saying you can't drive, but learn to drive the Honda B-Series and you will surprise everyone you know.
Once you've got these steps done, then you can start thinking about spending more money on your car
