EK 1.4 Facelift..B18c Swap (Help with part list)

Hi all, First post. Sorry to troll, i know this will be the millionth post about a conversion/swap. But, i like my own, plus i can be more specific on my requirements.

So, i own a EK 1.4 FACE LIFT Civic Year 2000.

I will be buying a B18 engine, with the full anxilleries, i now have a few more parts to purchase before i begin the task of swapping the engines.

So parts i think i need;

-Gearbox - I will be buying an engine with a box already attached. Will be buying a complete DC2 drive terrain.
- Clutch/Flywheel
- odb1a OR odb2a wiring loom. Now, which one will i need to plug/play with my facelift shell?
- I will buy a p28 or p30 ECU. I dont know much about these, but i presume they have no immoboliser ect..?


That's basically it from what i can gather, other than small parts like fluids ect..

I need some advice on the gearbox, i was going to buy a b16a gearbox to bolt to the b16b engine. Will this work?

Clutch/Flywheel, i will be buying a uprated stage 1/2 to take around 220bhp as i will be re-mapping the car in the future once it is running a-ok.

As for the plug/play, i will be buying an engine with loom still connect, will this literally plug straight into my loom that i purchase? - All eletrics inside will work too, this is the part i think i may stumble on when doing the conversion. By no means am i electricion but looking at guides ect.. It looks fairly simple.

Can someone give me information on what the P28/30 are and the differences, can i not just buy a JDM standard ECU?

Or, am i worth just buying a DC2 ECU?

If anyone can provide me retailers that supply any of the above would be great!

I am a competent person, who wants to get stuck in!

Anymore advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I would do a break upgrade also, wouldn't like to see you wrote the car off because you couldn't stop quick enough lol. Make sure you have the corect loom for your obd i.e face obd2b pre facelift obd2a.

I have a ek9 flywheel and a full 5 stud hub converstion inc rear handbrake cables claipers discs minus the front.
 
Anymore help? I bought the shell today, engine in a week.. So i need to know if im missing anything!
 
Your car is 00 model?

So you will need is obd2b ek4/ek9 engine loom
Ek4/ek9 rear L mount
Ek4/ek9 B16 dual post mount

You will need the two mounts to drop in to your 1.4 and bolt in

The loom mentioned on top will replace the loom that will come with the engine if its still connected, once you have connected the new obd2b loom it will run down in to the passenger footwell, one plug will connect to the dash loom the rest into the ecu

If you are thinking of running a p28 or p30 chipped ecu, to run one of these ecu's you will need OBD2B-OBD1 harness
