Started ripping the car out:

5 lug conversion

Brake pads and rotors

Stripping the interior

Doing the Ekk2 package so here is the ITR subframe and steering rack (packed though)

Current state of the car

Yea it looks messy

More updates will follow

Small updates so far:

-The whole suspension is off including subframe
-B18C engine is out
-interior completed stripped
-Brakes and brakelines

Upcoming tasks:
-Cleaning the body
-Cleaning the bay
-Cleaning the suspension and putting fresh rubbers in

Hey guys,

Yea it's been a while.. I booked my holidays and I didn't have much time to work on the car. But last few weeks I finally did something to the car and consumed some nice stuff for it

Gave the subframe a new paint together with some other suspension stuff. They should be dry by now.

Now I'm a bit more motivated to work on the car

Did a lot of work couple of days.

Cleaned the wheel archs and resprayed it with tectyle layers.

Looks so much cleaner now!

There I had a tough week, made a lot of progress untill now:

Cleaned the coilover set xD

Mounted the stuff

And I found very very very nice wheels! Volks TE37 with two 7.5J and 7J size!
So happy with the wheels!

-Cleaning the undertray of the car and spray on a new tectyle layer
-Cleaning the interior
-Cleaning, grinding and painting the enginebay

The whole bottom is now clean and tectyled again.

Next step? Engine bay

So couple of days did some work. I test fitted the subframe together with the front suspension but I realized that the bolts don't fit correctly (lengths etc are very different). So next week I have to order some brand new ones. But I could test fit the rest to enjoy the view .

Did some little work today

- Cleaned the interior and sprayed some part with a protective layer, going to spray the rest with a differen paint. The carpet is going back in.

- Mounted the handbrake cables and rear breaklines.

Upcoming days I'm going to remove the subframe again to grind and paint the bay. But I need to reposition the radiator brackets and thinking of how to route the shifter cables.

So some question:

- There are two brackets for the A/C radiator, replace those with the regular radiator mounts?

- I am using the billet shifter box with the billet shifter plate so my cables are not going under the tunnel, so I am thinking it goes through the firewall. Any good suggestions for that? (under the radiator hoses?)

In a few weeks big update is coming up

Upcoming plans:
- Bypass the steering rack and add a breather
- Mount back the interior wires etc.
- Dashboard is going back in
- Mount the brakelines from brakecylinder to the divider

And I received some awesome shifter cables from K-tuned but don't have any pics of those yet.

Next step?
-Clean and check the engine
-Route the shifter cables
-bypass the power steering (need to know the sizes of the threads etc.)
-Paint the engine/valve cover
-hang it in!

I finished a b18 swap (my old engine) so now I will continue with my EK again.
