Hi guys.
Bought an Honda Civic Illusion 1.4 ej9 because my Ibiza GTI threw the cambelt.
I'm looking for some tips on the best look for an ej, what parts will fit (ie will all ek parts fit an ej) and where too get said parts.
I think due too now maybe eventually (within next couple of years) moving to an ek im not going too be spending a fortune on this.
Im thinking of getting one of the cheap ebay grills (badgeless)
set of coilovers from ta technix (whom i previously used - cheap but better than cheap Ride)
Maybe a set of rotas (i take it these could be transferred to an ek)
a front lip but dont know what one
Im going to get it fully colour coded and that will be me done.
Also a set of square number plates but have no idea where to buy from.
Thanks for your help guys
Chris

well, basically, ej=ek, they just got different engine.
and what year is ur ej9?! the front grill, front bumper, front lip, headlight, bonnet, front wing is different between pre-facelift(96-98) and facelift(99-00)

have a look at the member rides section, there are plenty of exmaple of nice civic.

right guys couple of questions :
I know import size plates would not be legal however what are the chances of getting pulled for this?? How would they know??
How hard is the front grill too fit??
And the lip??
And whats a decent price too paint the bump strips, grill, wing mirrors basically anything needed to colour code?
Thanks again

right guys.
Grill is now ordered.
Car is getting a good clean tomorrow morning and i will be posting pictures up.
Looking at putrting the Red 'H' badge on the bonnet above the grill and replacing the back one with a type r one.
Im also going to debadge the rear tomorrow - whats the best way?? (tar remover and credit card??)
Also any help with the above about number plates and fitting the grill??
Thanks
chris

Make sure you don't touch the Honda badge as it has two alignment holes behind it. Then you boot will fill with water.
