looking for the biggest power gain but with the least amount of modification lol.

i work in a car auction so get a few hondas coming in quite alot.

B16B, 185bhp ish (1.6)
not the highest power ouput but still a great engine:nice:
it'll be a big step up from the d14

put a b18c in dont put in a b16b cause you,ll end up pulling that out few mounts down the line for a b18

As said bud B18c R out of an DC2 Intergra type R , have a look in the for sale section on here bud or fire up a wanted thread. Failing that Pistonheads , Ebay , Jap performance and so on Lol :nice:

Im currently running a JDM h22a mated with a GS-R LSD tranny. My daily driver

h22 in a civic, not for everyone that's for sure!
Weight is a bit too much with the h22 power plant for the type of driving I enjoy. More weight means more braking power is needed.

Yes, it can be done, but why mess up a good handling civic? Plus a B is a direct bolt in.

Yes it might weigh 30-40 lbs more but you can eliminate over 10 pounds of rotating weight from your engine and increasing your oil pressure by removing the balancer shafts. Also removing your butterfly plate is shaving another 7lbs off the weight. All in all , it just comes down to the weight of the drivers.

^^have yet to see any h22 civic with any sort of improved handling over stock, sorry its not possible. The last thing you want to do is to add weight to the front end on a FWD civic, under-steer becomes a even more of an issue.

Better suited for drag really.
