EG civic K-swap inside

So small update! I've completely decided to change direction with the ad I'm going for a K-swap now I've wanted to do one for a long time so selling all my B-series parts to fund it here's hoping it will be fast
 
Im pro b series all the way but should be a pig with a k20 or k24 so best of luck man
 
@King Sir i love b series myself just so much potential with k series kinda broke my heart selling my gearbox though :(

Bought my first K-swap part today a K-TUNED race header that's been ported got it off @SPek9 cant wait for it to arrive :)





 
So I've been gathering parts my manifold arrived this week! I also went and picked up my engine and gearbox witch I got for a bargain! I've also bought hasport mounts and will arrive next week cannot wait! Few small things happening in the meantime I'm removing my ABS pump witch previous owner left in for some reason or another! And I'm re doing my brake and fuel lines inside the car! All in all I'm making steady progress to where I want to be with the car more updates to come soon!

Here is the first meeting of the car and engine :)


 
So yesterday my mounts arrived couldn't wait to get home from work and get them opened! Can see why hasport are fairly expensive the quality is unreal!







I'll be spending time over the next week tidying up the bay getting ready to fit the engine will keep this updated
 
Yesterday I got te engine up on the stand and started stripping it to clean it up and test fit the manifold! Looks the part hopefully it performs the same :)

So I've went and bought myself a shifter opted for the K-tuned race spec billet shifter should be here this week can't wait!

In the mean time I tackled the small task of refurbish my rocker cover! Not perfect but it will do! I went for Porsche riviera blue!





 
So got some things to update!

First of all I've started making the bay ready for the K20 first I wire tucked my lights down the inside of the wings to give the bay a neater look looks mutch better already! And I've also looped my power steering to take out all the lines and not have the hassle of getting a P/S setup for the K20. And last of all I fitted my drivers side chassis leg mount had to cut off the oem gearbox one it was on there pretty good haha! I've decided to leave the battery and fuse box in the bay for now will relocate battery at some point but is not necessary at the moment!















And my shifter also arrived and all I can do is let the pictures do the talking it's a work of art!









I also made a attempt at flocking my dash turned out okay not 100% but it's not a show car so not bothered if it isn't perfect



Last but not least I got a pair of 16x7 TE37 for running up front on track and for some reason I love the miss match wheel look especially 2 cool sets of wheels!





Needs engine on and arch liners and some 215/45-R16 tyres and wheels will look much better! Please disregard how dirty the car is quite a lot of dust in my garage from paint prep will get a wash soon badly needs it!

I won't k swap just for that shifter! Love it .
 
Today I took a turn to be really focuses on finishing the eg very soon

I got rid of my accord type R that I was using daily as it was costing a fortune on fuel and that's money not being spent on k swap parts! So I swapped it for a EP1 with the most awful paintwork I've ever seen but it has full type R kit, hubs, brakes and coilovers so looks cool (from a distance) needs a bit of work but I'll get it done and see how it goes :)

Seen a young fella with one in his b series man just buy one an find a way to plub it up might be just bolt on never got a proper look at one but cant be that hard to do :dance:

Nice build btw man i always love 16s on hondas they look better but lightweight an all that an lower so has to be 15s for me haha
