The only thing I don't like about eagle rods are their weight. They are generally heavier than most other aftermarket rods. It is for this reason I went with Crower personally.
However, with this said, they are also cheaper than most others as well. You do get what you pay for I suppose. I wouldn't worry too much about failure as others have pointed out....if you're going for 600whp+, rods are definitely not a place you would want to skimp on.
