Hi im doind a shave and was wondering if any1 Can tell me what has hapened to his power steering pump and reservoir? Iv manage to move everything else thats requied but cant see where these items have gone.

any help would be much appreciated:bow:

looks like he converted to non assisted steering and looped the lines,
u can see it at the rear right of the engine bay.. the big chunky high pressure hose.

Yeah. Mine has no power steering (I removed it). The steering is like if you drive along and then turn the engine off. It's not bad whilst moving but if you're sat still or trying to park it gets a bit tough

i wont go to not having power steering again. its ok if you have a drive or rarely use it, but if your going to cinema etc its abit rough parking it lol. took me a good 5mins to do a 3point turn :nono:

thanks guys thats made my mind up, lots of turning and that for parking and so on, is there any way of relocating it on an ek civic with a d16 or will it just have to stay where it is?i no its belt driven so i would assume its pretty darn hard to move?

its so ugly right at the front and to remove it, do you just cap teh inlet and outlet on the steering rack.

Speak to tama666 I seem to remember reading that he was looking into electric power steering. It's not run off the crank pulley so should be able to tuck it away somewhere :nice:

if you loop the lines and run the small clutch cylinder with fluid,
its not too bad as you will have the fluid softening it a touch and not running your rack dry.

there should be a guide on the internet how to do it, the smaller bottle could be hidden easily.
