Dyno Tuning Times?

Was speaking to a tuner the other day about an apexi pfc or aem ems and was asking him about the time on the dyno needed to set up & tune a new ECU.

He ended up quoting me 5 hours on the dyno at a cost of £500

What sorta times have you guys had to book in on the dyno to have an ECU set up? Dont wanna get taken for a ride on this so any help appreciated

wow, thats way to long, thats about how long it takes to fully tune a 500whp race car from scratch. a typical NA honda should be about 1.5hours.

turbo honda's take about 2 hours, it could be more if your setting up boost by gear and other things but 5 hours is a JOKE.
