Thank you all for your comments... I know everyone isn't a big fan of the taillights but I wanted LED tails so I found the closest to the oem as I could

Laskey racing built motor,crower stage 2 turbo cams, Greddy 18g turbo kit... 297whp... retuning in 2 weeks with another tuner to see if I can get anymore out of the turbo before I upgrade

Well I posted a whole rebuild thread here:

But basicly my motor is now a:
1.9 b16a2
Laskey racing fully built engine:
Benson 84mm sleeved blueprinted block
Benson balanced and micropolished crank
84mm CP pistons and rings
Eagle rods
ACL bearings
OEM (TypeR) oil pump

The head was also done by Laskey:
PortFlow port & polish
SuperTech Stainless Steel nitride coated valves
dual valve springs
titanium retainers
competition 3 angle valve job
re-surfaced to a mirror like finish
Brian Crower stage 2 turbo cams
BDL cam gears

As I said... 297whp now but going in two weeks to a new tuner to see if he can tune my car as it should be... Not happy with the last tuner
 
looks very nice. just get oem rear light and it would be complete.
why is ur side moleding looks a bit fat?

vary nice car ,:nice:, 297whp sounds pretty low for that build

No on the oem tails... I choose those tails because I like the led look...
As for the side molings... US side moldings are thicker then JDM side moldings

Thank and yes that is very low... internal wastegate on the turbo is holding the power back... I am planning on upgrading to a new manifold,turbo and external wastegate... I should see 400+whp down the road (if I keep the car)
 
i have a ukdm civic and it doesnt look think so i guess it only usdm that has thick ones

UK civics and US civics all have the thicker side moldings. ONLY the jdm cars like the EK9 came with thinner ones. Your's will be the same as DOHCIVIC's, unless of course your car has jdm ones fitted by a previous owner.

that may be true but i trust my eyes very much and if you look at pics of my car they look thinner to dohcivic's car

Yep, that's true, hence why I said it may be the case that a previous owner has installed jdm thin side moldings on your car, looks like it anyway! Plus they are unpainted, so seems like a possibility? DOHCIVIC's look the same as mine :)
