I am correct in saying that to fit an EK9 exhaust (aftermarket) system to an EK4 I would need a cat / de-cat pipe for an EK9 and not the EK4. Right?

The manifold will be staying standard for now, but when I do go and change it, I will still use the EK4 fitment manifold. Right?

Many Thanks!

ek4 manifolds use a smaller collector than the EK9's 2.5" one so an ek4 manifold would not match up to the rest of the system. also since the JDM cat is shorter on the EK9, the b-pipe of an ek4 would be too short for an EK9

I would be using a EK9 fitment exhaust.

So back box & centre section.

Then use an EK9 decat pipe or, if it wont match to the existing manifold, I would have to use a custom decat or shorten the centre section.

Cheers anyway dude.

if you are using an EK9 cat-back exhaust you will need a custom decat which has a smaller collector on one side for the ek4 manifold and then the otherside will have to match up to the rest of the exhaust

try funkypower, they should be able to sort you out, think it's just an ek4 adjustable length decat that you will need
