Difference Between ek4 and dc2 driveshafts?

As title, is there any difference between the two?

Nothing unless there JDM DC2 98+ shafts as they have larger outer cv joints, 36mm as apposed to 32mm on rest so they wont fit a EK4 hub, however a EK4 outer cv joint will fit the dc2 98+ shaft so if your stuck just get 2x EK4 outer cv joints and fit them to the 98+shafts.

Sorry to bring this up again. Managed to source a 99 dc2 drivers side one, so to make it fit, just buy a driver side ek4 outer cv joint and the 98 spec shaft will fit then? :nice:

Just to be certain before i buy, thanks, sorry

Yes but only if the shaft is from a JDM ITR 98spec. UK spec ITR shafts will fit fine no need to change outer cv joint as its a 32mm same as EK4 so just be sure its a JDM ITR shaft you have. If unsure try push it into your EK4 hub, if it doesnt fit you know its a 36mm JDM outer cv joint and needs changing.
