Which plugs do people prefer to use and why?

I am going to be changing my plugs and leads in the coming month and want some opinions.

I will probably use Nology hot wire or Magnacore leads too.

Many thanks

Iridium IX? Bosch super 4 seem to b a good product.... for the plug cables Nology is a good brand, and btw wats Magnacore leads? sori just asking, can i?

NGK plugs AND wires, why? cause stock plugs are ngk, and ngk plug wires are the same desing as stock only thicker which is the best design imo...

OEM all the way! I use factory wires fine but with NGK colder plugs for my setup! :nice:

ND make teh best plugs you can buy, always last longer than anything else in my mx bike

Plugs - NGK PFR7G-11
Wires - NGK Power Cable or Spoon (expensive and is the same as NGK power cable with earth)

I refuse to pay £190 for ignition leads on the EK4.

If it was the EK9...I may be tempted. LOL

So far then, people are prefering the NGK plugs yes?

I have heard mixed views and am unsure on whether to use them or stick to the Denso's?!

I will only be using teh Nology or Magnecore leads though. I am not going to spend silly money this time around.

surely denso plugs are better since they have a .4mm electrode tip whereas NGK use a .6mm tip.
Smaller tip results in a better spark i believe howver i cant get hold of the denso plugs anywhere.

Got an ngk number if that helps anyone: BKR7 IX

I prefer NGK's i use ngk PFR7G-11S

and HT leads i use 10mm nology hot wires

I'm doing a service as well and just wandering what plugs and leads to get for the b16b! the b16a is different to b18c? so not sure what to get? thought they would be the same?

Thinking about getting Denso plugs! dose anybody know the part no? is it IK20 or IK22 I'm not sure which one to get? and are Magnacore KV85 leads the same for all b engine's?

NGK , because the honda oem ones are made by NGK.

magnacore leads aint as good as they used to be, the ends pull off when you try to remove the lead as the crimping is half assed:angry:

i have tried denso iridium, ngk iridium and nology silver. since i use my car as a daily commute to work, any slight changes i could feel instantly. so denso iridium vs ngk, i'll say ngk more better. but if lets say you change plug for 2nd time, the ngk iridium doesn't perform as expected.in my mind i always think i just bought a fake plug?????.i heard that this copycat plug always target plug that is most popular among buyers...so to my frustration i try nology silver.before i buy i search for internet bout this plug.and i found this plug is not that popular compare to ngk and denso.but i was attracted to silver.the best conductor material.platinum and copper better than iridium.what?so in my car is iridium.so if i change to silver for sure there is slight increase of performance.and to expectation it does. the first time i start the car, the sounds same as iridium.but after 10mins of cruising, i could feel the throttle response is really smooth.engine is more quiet.this morning its easier to start. so my last test to open vtec at 4th gear. before this vtec sound normal.could not hear any engine screaming. but know i could hear the engine scream aggressively.wow!!!!!! only change of spark plug. if i go to dyno machine for sure the result could not be comparable since lot of changes to the car. but the feeling is instantly.(after 10mins warm up). i rest my case. iridium sucks!!!!!! the method of 0.06mm just district current flow.
i heard there is a new plug from brisk.very expensive.but very powerful...brisk LGS silver

my car spec
b18c gsr block
b16a head
skunk2 stage 2 tuner series
piston p73(type r b18c)
rsr header with std b16b downpipe.
2.28 inch exhaust
custom muffler
ron95 petrol (malaysia grade)

193whp on dyno dynamic
