Hey not long bought the de-cat went to fit it the other day and found out tht the lamber sensor dosent fit  the hole in the de-cat is to big.
There a yellow warning light on in the dash aswel
Am runnin a full Mugan twin loop system EB

I dnt wnt this to fuk my car any ideas how to fix it ??? or am i needin to go out and buy a new lamber??

new lamda may be an idea. to be honest iv not put a decat in mine so not totally sure but my mg a had before the jordan got decated and put an engine management light up and it happened due to the lambda. u can get a lambda fuller which basically bypasses that the lambda so wont put the light on

The lambder sensor is there for a reason!! It monitors the oxygen content in the exhaust gasses and corrects the fuel accordingly!

Why on earth would you want to 'fool' or bypass it??

Regarding your CEL light, pin out the diagnostic plug to see what code your throwing! Then go from there.

I can say I've never thrown a code when putting a decat on any of my civics!

Hope that helps mate

simple answer - its not a lambda sensor on the SIR cat, its a cat temp sensor. Simply unplug it and dont use it. Bung the hole in the decat, its there for the OBD2 cars with secondary o2 sensors.

and jimbo, nothing wrong with fitting a fooler onto a secondary sensor, its function is purely to monitor the post cat content, not to adjust the mixture.

Cheers guys i'll give that a go wen it warm enough to go outside haha :nice:
