Hey lads, joined up as im a fan of ek9's and hopefully will get one after the eg! Heres some pics anyways:









Got a few bits for it since i got it. Bought it from london so maybe someone might no it? At the moment it currently has d2 coilies, function 7 lca's, spoon n1 backbox, decat, carbon fibre bonnet and spoiler. Currently sanding these down to polish them up:

think i saw this for sale not so long ago, good find though it looks very clean.:woot:

although alot of chaps have the EK9 alot appreciate a good EG6 :))

What have you got planned for it ?

Yeah as for the wheels i cant wait to get them on it, there going to be fully polished, i think it would look good. Any recommendations on spraying the centres? Yeah, ah maybe later this year i could be on the way to england again for a ek9 :naughty:

Next after the wheels is rear 50/50's, probably a type r rear lip and then on to the engine. Not going for anything mad but going to get a new gearbox with a final drive to make it a bit more fun. But next up is going to take the interior out and clean it all, clean seats etc and make sure the floor is sweet.
 
sounds good man, although the EG6 SiR2 is pretty much the type r for that model year so they didn'y make a rear lip for it.
persoanlly i think it looks better left how it is :)) especially the front lip..
Check out the EG6 i used to own in the gallery.
Mfactory on here will sort all your gearbox needs.. its great fun playing with the ratios on their site :)

centre caps......i always end up spraying my wheels black so i can't really offer much creative advice lol.. erm .. black :))
 
Haha, meant rear one man but i think once i get 50/50's itll look better anyways. And kind of tempted to put back in the standard indicators, made the front look cleaner i think? Cant find the gallery section link me?

Yeah ive heard about them, but havent looked at much gearbox's at all yet so still undecided what to do there! Would love a y56 type r :nerv:

Looks a clean eg mate, Liking the new wheels and the list of current parts it has sound good! Keep us updated :)
 
What are the new rims? They look rather sweet :)

stunning eg mate remember seeing it for sale got yourself a wee cracker ! I think the colour of the new wheels looks sweet as they are and dark gray/black or something would look good also. As for b-pipe maybe spoon or something similar but most 2.5 inch pipes will do the job :nice:

Shall keep it updated when i get more of the wheels done after the 16th, exams till then.
 
used to have 2 eg's in my time before my ek9 loved them!

looks really nice, not a fan of the wheels though dude :/

get a spoon b-pipe for that n1 you have :p
 
cheers guys. spoon b pipe is too much, is there any other ones that are good for not such a high price as spoon one's?
 
Welcome along man! Thats a mint eg you have got yourself! I would go with the spoon b pipe as you have the spoon backbox, there are expensive but i recon you could pick second hand one up for resonable money! Put up a thread some one might be able to help you out ! :D
