iv recently fitted a set of 45mm spax lowering springs but the ride is a little on the bouncy side sometimes. would ek9 dampers be a better upgrade or would i be aswell getting spax gas shocks or the sort?

Bouncy or stiff? If its bouncy as you are saying a stiffer set of dampers could and should help.

Im not sure I understand?
A car with Blown shocks usually makes a car bouncy, when you push down on 1 corner of the car quickly you can see it bounce. Correct? For stock stocks/springs! Obviously you cant do this on stiff ass coilovers.

Yea bouncy seems like your stock shocks are on the way out so your mainly riding on the springs which is why its bouncy. Get a new set of aftermarket shocks and this will solve that problem.

no they are ok iv double checked all of them when i put the springs on its just they are a bit soft due to being standard. i was wondering wether a set of standard ek9 shocks would be better to stiffen the ride up a bit than say a set of spax dampers or the like?

EK9 dampers will help out. But even those are not meant to have a lowered spring on them. You will need to get aftermarket dampers to sort the problem. Ones that are designed for a lowered spring.
