D15B engine cover help

Hi i am thinking of buying a honda civic 1.5 VTI JDM spec honda civic 1993 and i don't know much about this engines so i was wondering is it possible to change the engine cover to a similar cover to the EK9 or most of the VTI engine looks like the B series engine or is that a fixed cover and can't be done?

You can't put a b-series valve cover on it, but you can take the current one off and paint it.
